Psalm 44:8-10

New International Version

⁸ In God we make our boast^(A) all day long,^(B)
    and we will praise your name forever.^[a](C)

⁹ But now you have rejected^(D) and humbled us;^(E)
    you no longer go out with our armies.^(F)
10 You made us retreat^(G) before the enemy,
    and our adversaries have plundered^(H) us.
